About the Programme:

• School: we can either run the English language classes ourselves with our very qualified staff or, more usually, we place students at a wonderful English school in Hove, where our students will have the chance to mix with many nationalities and make new friends and contacts

• Host families: we run a large and thriving summer school, and therefore we have the very best of our host families available to house Leonardo students.

• Work placements: we have a varied range of excellent work placements, which allows students to learn new skills and enables them to improve their English further. We place according to school subject, desired area of employment and of course the student's level of English
• Most importantly, we think, for students who are very new to the adult work world, all our employers are very pleasant friendly people. We are very happy to tailor the Leonardo courses that we offer so that they suit a particular group’s needs or so that they meet the requirements of applicants coming from that particular country

Avalon Travel Leonardo Programmes

• Leonardo da Vinci Project: This programme is aimed at older International students and consists of 2 to 4 weeks of lessons followed by an 8 week work placement

• We have also started hosting 4 and 8 week groups, some work placement only, some with classes

• Young Leonardo da Vinci Project: aimed at the under 18 age groups, and then programmes that we have run have been 3 weeks, 1 week of English Lessons followed by 2 weeks at a work placement and 4 weeks with 2 weeks of language classes
